Description: Released on August 7, 2000, as the ninth coin in the 50 State Quarters Program, the New Hampshire quarter features the famous "Old Man of the Mountain" rock formation, the state motto "Live Free or Die," and nine stars representing its status as the ninth state to ratify the Constitution.

Reverse Design: Depicts the iconic Old Man of the Mountain granite profile, which was located in Franconia Notch.
