Drescription: The 2015 Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential $1 Coin, authorized by Congress and minted by the US Mint, features a portrait of the 36th president on the obverse and the Statue of Liberty on the reverse. Part of the Presidential $1 Coin Program, this golden-alloy coin includes edge-incused inscriptions of the year, mint mark, and "E Pluribus Unum".

Obverse Design

Portrait: A portrait of Lyndon B. Johnson with a confident expression, designed by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Michael Gaudioso.

Inscriptions: "LYNDON B. JOHNSON," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "36TH PRESIDENT," and the years of his term "1963-1969".

Reverse Design

Inscriptions: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "$1".
