The 2006 Westward Journey "Return to Monticello" nickel concludes the series with a new forward-facing portrait of Thomas Jefferson ("Jefferson, 1800") by Jamie Franki on the obverse and a modernized return to the classic Monticello reverse. It features the word "Liberty" in Jefferson’s script and was released in P, D, and S mint marks.
