Drescription: The $50 American Gold Buffalo is a 1 oz, .9999 fine (24-karat) gold bullion coin issued annually by the U.S. Mint since 2006. It is the first 24-karat gold coin ever produced by the U.S. government and is highly sought after by investors. It features James Earle Fraser’s iconic designs, with a Native American on the obverse and an American Buffalo (bison) on the reverse.
