Description: The America the Beautiful Quarters® Program (2010–2021) features 56 distinct quarters honoring national parks and sites. All coins have a modified version of John Flanagan's 1932 George Washington portrait on the obverse (heads), while the reverse (tails) displays a unique, artist-designed scene of a national site from each state, territory, and D.C..

Obverse (Heads): A portrait of George Washington, restored to bring out subtle details from the original 1932 design.
Reverse (Tails): Features a unique design for each of the 56 sites, honoring national parks, forests, or historic landmarks, released in the order the site was established.
Design Process: Created through collaboration between the U.S. Mint and the National Park Service.
Variations: In addition to standard copper-nickel clad, special 5-ounce silver bullion coins and collector versions were minted.
West Point Minting: In 2019 and 2020, the West Point Mint produced limited quantities of circulating quarters with a "W" mint mark.
