Description: The 2017 District of Columbia America the Beautiful quarter features Frederick Douglass at his Cedar Hill home, representing the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site. Released as the 37th coin in the series, the reverse shows a close-up portrait of Douglass, the Washington, D.C. skyline, and his home. The obverse features the standard 1932 John Flanagan portrait of George Washington.
